As a responsible and active owner, we have integrated sustainability closely into our value creation strategy. We have set sustainability guidelines for our companies to clearly define what we expect from them. The focus of Oras Invest’s sustainability work is on being an influential owner through the channels available for a significant owner.
We influence through our board positions and through active dialogue with the management teams, other significant owners and stakeholders. We constantly follow the development of our companies and review their performance annually in a systematic and detailed manner. We are committed to continuously developing our sustainability approach and encourage and support our companies to do the same.
Oras Invest supports the Sustainable Development Goals and the goals have been integrated into our sustainability framework. As a result of detailed analysis, we have selected four SDGs to focus on: Water (6), Decent Work and Economic Growth (8), Responsible Consumption and Production (12), and Climate Action (13). We actively monitor the contribution of Oras Invest and its companies to reaching the goals.
